Cantonale 2024 temporary electrical installations
Discover how the Cantonale 2024 is innovating with advanced temporary electrical installations to guarantee safety, energy efficiency and sustainability. This year's Cantonale is distinguished by a state-of-the-art temporary electrical infrastructure, designed to meet the event's high energy requirements while minimizing its ecological footprint.
Temporary electrical installations an advanced solution
The 2024 edition of the Cantonale is being prepared with an exceptional temporary electrical installation. A 630 kVA power supply has been installed to meet the growing demand for electricity. This power will be used to supply various buildings and installations on the event site.
Optimum electricity distribution
To ensure efficient and stable power distribution, several kilometers of cables of different cross-sections were deployed. These cables were carefully selected according to the specific requirements of each segment, guaranteeing a reliable power supply for lighting equipment and other temporary installations. In addition, some fifty main and secondary distribution boards were installed to efficiently structure the temporary electrical network.
An ecological dimension with photovoltaic panels
One of the most innovative aspects of this temporary installation is the integration of photovoltaic panels. These solar panels add an ecological dimension by reducing dependence on traditional energy sources and minimizing the event's carbon footprint. This initiative is perfectly aligned with the Cantonale 2024's sustainable development objectives.
Festive, energy-efficient lighting
To add an aesthetic and festive touch to the event, several kilometers of string lights were installed. These garlands are not only decorative; they also ensure adequate, energy-efficient illumination of the site, contributing to the overall ambience while remaining environmentally friendly.
Local collaboration and innovation
This electrical infrastructure was made possible thanks to the initiative of Timothée Guilloud of Timatec Sà rl. He coordinated the efforts of five local companies: Sedelec SA, Huber Électricité SA, SEIC SA, Bally Électricité SA and Timatec Sà rl. This collaboration mobilized a wide range of skills and resources, ensuring rapid and efficient implementation of the temporary installations. Thanks to this synergy, the project benefited from innovations and the sharing of best practices, reinforcing the quality and reliability of the electrical systems installed.
The Cantonale 2024's temporary installations illustrate the event's commitment to adopting innovative, environmentally-friendly energy solutions. By meeting the logistical and technical requirements of a large-scale event, the Cantonale 2024 is taking an important step towards a more sustainable future.
