SEIC, SIG and SI-REN join forces to equip FEDRO noise barriers with solar panels
Against the backdrop of the energy turnaround, the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO) has launched calls for tenders for the installation of solar power systems on noise barriers and rest areas.
The aim is to take advantage of the photovoltaic potential along national roads.
The development of solar energy is in line with the objectives of the Swiss government's 2050 energy strategy.
SEIC, SIG and SI-REN are proud to have won the contract to equip 30 noise barriers with photovoltaic panels on the motorway section between Geneva and Lausanne.
