Consolidation for own consumption - RCP and virtual RCP
Are you generating electricity with a photovoltaic system? Share and valorize your energy by creating your Regroupement pour la consommation propre, and let your building users and neighbors benefit from it.
What is a self-consumption group (SCG) or virtual SCG?
An RCP, also known as a solar group, allows a group of consumers to come together around a photovoltaic installation. In other words, you can sell the solar energy produced on your roof to users in your building by bringing all consumers together in a group called an RCP. To form an RCP, all consumers must be located behind the same connection point to the DSO network .
Virtual power pools (VPPs) enable multiple consumers located at the same site or spread across multiple sites to share the electricity generated by a photovoltaic installation virtually. The energy is distributed among the members according to defined rules, without the need for a direct physical connection between them. This model optimizes collective self-consumption and improves the profitability of existing or new solar installations.
These solutions, which are both green and cost-effective, are aimed at both individuals and professionals.

With more than a hundred RCPs throughout French-speaking Switzerland, including two major eco-neighborhoods in the Lausanne and Fribourg regions, our experts can offer you effective, proven solutions tailored to your situation. As a specialist in electricity distribution in French-speaking Switzerland and a recognized expert in solar clustering, SEIC is with you every step of the way.
Create your RCP in three easy steps
-
1. Choose photovoltaics
Today, more and more homeowners and developers are opting for photovoltaics. It's an ecological, economical and sustainable choice, offering greater energy independence and increasing the share of renewable energy in our overall consumption. Since 2018, they have also had the opportunity to resell the solar energy produced on their roofs to their tenants or co-owners.
-
2. Create a consumer community
How can you promote your production to users in your building or neighboring buildings? It couldn't be simpler: just bring all consumers (individuals and/or businesses) together in a self-consumption group (SCG) or a virtual SCG.
-
3. Bring in a specialist
RCP has many advantages, but requires the support of a specialized partner to ensure optimal distribution and invoicing services, in compliance with current legislation. Take advantage of SEIC's turnkey RCP solution.
Delegate your CPR and save time
Whether you're an owner, property manager, developer or energy service provider, save time and simplify your life by entrusting the creation and management of your RCP to our SEIC specialists, whatever your supply zone, anywhere in French-speaking Switzerland.

Discover another solution: the self-consumption community
Unlike the Regroupements pour la consommation propre, a self-consumption community brings together a group of people and/or professionals around the production of a single building.Â
