Energy audits
Assess and improve the energy efficiency of your property with CECB® and CECB® Plus audits. Find out how these tools can help you optimize your energy consumption and save money.
CECB® Certificat Energétique Cantonal des Bâtiments (Cantonal Energy Certificate for Buildings)
Whether it's a villa, apartment building, office or school building, old or new construction, SEIC will carry out an objective energy audit of your property, in line with the Certificat Energétique Cantonal des Bâtiments (Cantonal Energy Certificate for Buildings). This gives you precise information on the efficiency of the building envelope and overall energy efficiency (consumption of heating, domestic hot water, lighting, etc.).
Please note that this certificate is mandatory if you sell or renovate your home.
In addition to the energy label assigned to your building - from A "very energy-efficient" to G "not very energy-efficient" - you can identify any renovation work recommended by the audit report.
CEBS® Plus complements the energy certificate
The CECB® Plus audit enables you to identify potential improvements to maximize your building's energy potential. Optimization actions are described in detail, and alternatives are suggested. In addition, indications are given of the required investments and maintenance costs; a transparent cost structure that facilitates the decision to invest.
Benefits at a glance
- Identify the potential for energy improvements in the building envelope and building technology.
- Suggested improvement actions prioritized according to their cost-effectiveness ratio.
- Ideal for planning building modernization measures, avoiding inefficient actions.

Consom'action" electrical audit for better control of your electricity consumption
With SEIC and its "Consom'action" audit, make substantial energy savings by analyzing the consumption of your electrical installations. This comprehensive analysis enables you to identify the actions you need to take to reduce your overall electricity bills and intelligently optimize the use of your equipment. Our specialists offer this audit only in our electrical service area, i.e. Begnins, Coinsins, Duillier, Gland, Prangins and Vich.
How does the Consom'action audit work?
-
Using measuring equipment, SEIC identifies precisely how your household functions. Our specialists map and determine the level of consumption of all your electrical installations.
-
On request, they can also compare the evolution of your consumption over the last few years.
-
Following these analyses, you will receive a detailed report with personalized recommendations.
Cost and subsidy of the "Consom'action" audit
Valued at CHF 330, the "Consom'action" audit is 33% subsidized by SEIC (CHF 110) for customers residing in its electricity service area. For this reason, we offer it only to residents of the communes of Begnins, Coinsins, Duillier, Gland, Prangins and Vich.
Some communes, such as Prangins, Gland and Begnins, offer an additional subsidy (from CHF 110.- to CHF 220.-) to their residents.
Our specific tips for reducing your energy consumption
By managing, automating and controlling the equipment in your home, you can reduce your building's electricity consumption and cut your electricity bills. Here are some easy-to-implement solutions:
Individual room temperature control
Adaptation of lighting power in offices to available natural light
Close blinds when leaving, when the sun is shining brightly or at dusk to keep cool in summer and warm in winter
Switch off or reduce heating and air conditioning when rooms are not in use
Installation of efficient light fittings with motion detectors or according to predefined schedules. Switching off lights in unused common areas or underground parking lots.
