Electric heaters and water heatersadvertising needs
If you own an electrically heated building, you have until the end of June 2025 to register with the Canton of Vaud's Department of Energy (DGE-DIREN).
The purpose of this reporting obligation is to identify the buildings affected by the Canton's decree on the renovation of centralized and decentralized electric heating systems.
How do I announce you?

2. Download file: Annonce_chauffage_electrique_VD.xlsx
3. Fill it in with the required information.
4. Return it by e-mail to: chauffage-electrique@vd.ch

Following an appeal lodged in January 2025, the directive implementing the decree on the renovation of electric water heaters has been suspended for the time being. However, the decree and the obligation to report your installation remain in full force.
