FAQ Collective charging stations
Today, hybrid and electric vehicles are all equipped with the same plug, so they can be recharged at any charging station. SEIC's specialists are able to install any type of charging station, including that of your electric car manufacturer. However, they recommend the Zaptec Pro because it's powerful, attractively designed and compatible with domestic solar installations. What's more, it adapts its maximum charge to your vehicle's capacity, and recharging can be completed more quickly than with a standard socket.
A 22kW charging station is sufficient for charging your vehicle at home. Charging time will be between 4 and 6 hours, depending on the model. For plug-in hybrids, a 3.7kW terminal may be sufficient.
As an option, SEIC supplies an additional cable with wall-mounting bracket. Three versions are available: 5, 7.5 or 10 meters.
Each person has their own badge to activate the charging station in their parking space.
Yes, with the free Zaptec platform.
Of course you can! If you have your own charging station, you pay less per kWh than if you charge your electric vehicle at a public station. You pay your kWh at the rate set by your grid operator.
